The students of the city will learn about the e-waste management in a workshop  to be  organised here on Friday at Maulana Azad central library, Bhopal.

During the workshop, the students of various school and colleges will be present and learn about the e-waste management. The workshop ‘E-Waste Management and Environment’ will be conducted by the experts of a voluntary organization, Sarthak Community Development and Public Welfare Organisation.

Notably, Sarthak Sarthak Community Development and Public Welfare Organisation work for e-waste management and since many years it has been working to improve the current situation of e-waste.

It is noteworthy that with the changing time and the advanced facilities, the requirement of electronic equipments is increasing and more and more advanced electronics are being launched in the market. With the launch of these new products, the old ones are discarded. According to a survey, a large amount of electronic equipments are discarded by the users. But only 1.6 per cent of the discarded electronic items are used efficiently and appropriately.

With the misuse of these electronic items, the environment is also badly affected.

To improve this situation, it is required to aware the young generation about e-waste management. Also it is required to let the people know about what e-waste management is, how it is implemented and what are the basics of recycling the electronic equipments and how they can be efficiently reuse.
