The examination was conducted in 264 examination centres of 28 cities and towns of State and in four cities of other State. Out of State, examination was conducted in New Delhi, Raipur, Patna and lucknow simultaneously in which more than 11,000 students appeared.

The three-hour paper, according to the students, was easy and the questions were predictable.

Kapil Sharma who appeared in the examination said that the paper was easy, chemistry section was comparatively tough but overall the paper was easier than expected.

Soniya Rawat, another PET aspirant said “Since the paper was easy, it seems that the cutoff will go high this year for the good colleges and branches. Physics section I felt was easiest in the whole paper. The questions were also straight that’s why it took less time in solving.”

Aamir Rizvi of Aamir Rizvi classes said that the questions in the chemistry section were based on logics more than the last years’s PET.

Rizvi further said that it is hard to predict the cut-off as students get admission over zero marks also still it can be said that cut-off will be higher than PET-2012 as the students found the paper quiet easy.

It can be also said that MP-PET has been organised for the last time as it is expected by the next year, MP will also join the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) system for admission in technical courses, added Rizvi.
