It was a fun start of the day as the students were all excited to celebrate the monsoon season at their college. The students of Vikramaditya College College explored the exquisiteness and the fun of the monsoon during an event organised on Tuesday.
The Sawan Mahotsav was organised at the college premises with a lot of fun filled games and performances. Observing the fest the students had a gala time during the monsoon celebration. The students were overwhelmed to watch the dance skills of their classmates under the event group dance and were also astonished to see the innovative ideas that created the enjoyable atmosphere during the performances.
Dressed up in green dresses, the students added more charm and charisma in the celebrations. Many competitions and performances were held to mark the grand occasion. The series of programmes began with the lightening of the lamp by Principal Deepika Singh. It was followed with the Saraswati Vandana.
Here on Tuesday, the students confidently showcased their creations under different competitions like Kalash decoration, Thaali decoration and Mehendi competition, Rangoli making, Tattoo making, best out of waste and the fashion show.
Under thaali decoration competition the individual participants had to decorate their thaalis to the best of their skills. The students gave entirely different look to the thaalis and received much appreciation from the judges and the audience. It was followed with the other competitions.
The zest was added in the show by the ramp walk. The students in green saris walked over the ramp leaving the audience totally mesmerized. The title of Monsson Beauty was given to Sona Thakur. later, the students danced over the musical tracks and enjoyed every bit of the event.
