Action against the most active hooligans in criminal activities should be taken. Strict vigil should be maintained on habitual criminals and identified miscreants and action of NSA and other prohibitory action should be taken against them in this month, said DIG Bhopal Dharmendra Choudhary during a review meeting senior officials and police station in-charges at the police control room on Tuesday.
Few days ago instructions of seeking support from Rakshs Samiti were given and in compliance with the instructions on every 5th of the month all police stations beat coordinator and police station coordinator meeting has been held without fail.
The meeting was attended by beat in-charge, police station in-charge and other senior officials and efforts are made to encourage the members of Raksha Samiti for active participation. Along with encouraging the members for active participation new members have been made.
The police station in-charges are providing application form for new members. The active 2000 members would fill their form by February 28, 2018 and by the first week of March they would be provided Identity Card. The ID card will have special type of member number and Aadhar number.
Work by Shakti squad is appreciable. Everyday ASP should visit their areas and SP should visit with two or four squads to curb molestation and anti-social elements.
The SHO of every police station should visit his area every day from 6 pm to 7 pm walking and check traffic and miscreants. For uniformity in the visits different regions of police station area should be visited.
