In a shocking incident, a stray dog killed a 7-month-old baby girl in Amlikheda village in Mahidpur tehsil on Tuesday.
The stray dog grabbed baby by jaws and ran away during which the girl sustained severe injuries and which lead to her death. By the time his parents reached out to help her the girl died.
The incident is of Amlikheda near Mahidpur. The father of the baby Dule Singh Banjara, who lives in the village, was working in the farm with his wife.
In the afternoon, Dule’s wife made a cradle between two trees for the baby and she went to work at the farms and while the baby was asleep and her parents were working at the farms a stray dog caught hold of baby and escaped.
The baby started to cry which alerted the parents and locals working at the farms who rushed to rescue and when they saw a dog was running with baby in her mouth.
The people chased the dog in which the girl fell from dog’s mouth but in the incident she was sustained serious injuries in her head and other parts of the body.
The family immediately rushed the girl to a hospital in Mahidpur in an unconscious state where the doctors declared him dead.
After which the family took the baby's body with them. In this regard, Mahidpur police station in-charge Shankar Singh Chauhan said that the family did not want any legal action.
