Stop targeting us: Cong tells BJP and RSS

Accusing former Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Gadkari of making inflammatory speeches and instigated saffron party workers to target Congress workers across the State, Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee president and MP Kantilal Bhuria warned of a befitting reply if saffron party didn’t alter its ways.

“The BJP workers instigated by speeches of Nitin Gadkari and Narendra Singh Tomar have vandalised Congress offices,” he alleged.

Talking to media persons at Indore airport, he alleged that Congress workers have been assaulted thrice recently and BJP and RSS men are behind these attacks. Bhuria alleged that Congress offices were attacked at the behest of BJP and RSS but Congress won’t tolerate this anymore.

The Congress State chief said that earlier it was police stations and now after Congress party offices in Sagar and Damoh, the party office in Mandsaur was targeted on Friday.

“We won’t tolerate this anymore and the party would offer befitting reply to the hooliganism of Shivraj Singh Chouhan Government and his party,” affirmed Bhuria.

He further added that no efforts to crush Congress party would be tolerated and the party would raise voice against this oppression across the State. “The Congress party won’t feel demoralised due to these incidents, said Bhuria adding that BJP had gone berserk while seeing its base sliding.

“The State is facing jungle raaj and BJP wants to secure victory in the ensuing Assembly elections by terrorising others,” said the Congress leader. He declined to withdraw his recent remarks against RSS workers that they were involved in eloping with beautiful girls in rural areas and said he still stood by his words.
