A day after lodging FIRs against three doctors for clearing pre-medical test in the past, the Special Task Force (STF) booked three more people who had cleared the test through fraudulent means.
Two of the candidates had cleared the exam forging the photograph used in the test admit card while the third one had used a forged domicile certificate for the test.
“The agency has lodged an FIR against Pallav Amritfale, Hitesh Alawa and others for using unfair means in the pre medical test 2009 and Divashish Vishwas (PMT 2007) has been booked for forging domicile certificate,” Addl DG STF Ashok Awasthi told the media on Saturday.
The STF officials also claimed that some of these candidates have reportedly entered into Government services and the investigators are also probing the process of candidates’ verification before getting into Government jobs.
The officers further said that role of Vyapam officials /employees including invigilators to ascertain what was their reaction to these unlawful means. We would also look into the roles of others who helped these candidates prepare forged documents, said an official from the STF.
Notably, STF, part of MP Police had initiated probe into the Vyapam scam in year 2013 but the probe was later handed over to CBI in year 2015 on the directives of the Supreme Court. Months ago, the Home Minister Bala Bachchan had ordered the STF to probe into the complaints pending with it.
