Nilanjana Sinha of Madhya Pradesh won the title of Mrs India International at the Beauty Pageant Mrs Earth 2017 held recently in New Delhi. Nilanjana hails from Panna district and has completed her higher education from Bhopal.
She competed with 45 finalists from across the globe and giving a tough competition to all, she won the title of Mrs India International and Mrs Beauty with Purpose. Nilanjana while sharing her motive of participation in Mrs Earth 2017 said, “I want to push myself to strive to do something challenging and out of box and this was the platform for me.”
Nilanjana want to work for the orphans. She wants to get better education and facilities for the orphans.
Under the beauty pageant, there were eight rounds in the initial stage. Participants from Dubai, USA, UK and other countries had participated. Under the judges panel Veteran actress Mahima Chaudhary was present.
During the eight rounds, each participant had to undergo general knowledge and fitness rounds in addition to the Feather Apparel Round, Catwalk, Fashion, Traditional Garment Round. The main purpose of this competition is to provide a platform to Indian women, to which they can do something for the society and bring a positive change in their society.
Interestingly, Nilanjana has raised a support of Rs 2 lakh 71 thousand which is more that the target she was given. She organised a social campaign for charity and this amount will be used for the treatment of poor and disabled children.
Though he has not been able to win the finals, Neelanjana says that despite hard rounds between preparations and talented participants from other states, it is a matter of pride for the title of Mrs. India International will continue. Staying positive, Nilanjana says, “There is a lot to learn in this life. Even a small step can fulfill our dreams.”
