The State Treasury is going to be paperless with the installation of the new software IFMIS. With the Treasury becoming paperless, the bills will now be presented by the drawing and disbursement officers to the Treasury online.

All important approvals related to the bills will be sent online through login. In the new system the employee will have to login with his own password through his employee code and apply online for service manual, approvals for all kinds of leave, GPF, DPF advance withdrawal, educational qualification, caste and other personal information. The approval will be granted by the concerned officer also through login password.

State Government has to pay 7th payscale to the officers and employees for which salary fixation is must. It is being said that the office head has to upload service Books of all officers and employees online under IFMIS. It must be ensured that all information has to be mandatorily sent to the Divisional Joint Director Treasury and Accounts by April 15, 2017. After this, the information of salary fixation will be sent to the concerned online.

Finance Department has directed that for any problem that arises and any query concerning IFMIS working process, one can contact on Help Desk no. 18001028244. The instructions are that all government offices should ensure comparison of actual number of employees with the number of posts before salary disbursement. For any discrepancy, the Treasury can be contacted. All correspondence in this regard under IFMIS should be sent to ifmis.o50@mptreasury.gov.in.
