The State government on Monday issued clarification on the suicides by three farmers in past 24 hours.

In an official statement, the government said that the three suicides were committed at Bamora village of Vidisha district by Jeevan Singh Meena, at Jamonia Khurd village of Sehore district by Bansilal and at Pipliya Vyas village of Neemuch district by Pyarelal and the actual situation of the three suicides is not found to be burden of debt.

In the case of suicide in Vidisha, Jeevan Singh committed suicide by hanging with the tree at farms. Nayab Tehsildar and Patwari visited the spot and prepared the report according to which the deceased was owner of 1.945 hectare of land.

According to the Manager of Central Grameen Bank branch Khamkheda deceased used to repay loan on time and operated his account on regular basis. Bank has not issued any notice to the deceased.

Jeevan committed suicide after her wife Suman left house due to a fight on June 14 and on June 18 after her family members agreed for her return Jeevan refused and later committed suicide.  It is also being  understood that family tension  was also the reason.

Another farmer Bansilal who committed suicide by hanging with a tree in Sehore was a well to do farmer. He owned 9.01 acres of land, hold Rs 58422 in Coperative Committee Jharkheda and Rs 2.25 lakh in PNB account of Jharkheda. He was not issued any notice and was not a defaulter.

Same was the case of Pyarelal who committed suicide by hanging with a tree on June 18 in Neemuch. He owned .85 hectares of land, Rs 104590 in Central Bank of India Kamal Chowk Neemuch branch and took a loan of Rs 112012. Both the accounts were functional and his dues were clearly regularly.  On receipt of information, district collector provided Rs 20000 from Redcross fund to the wife and son while order of magisterial enquiry has been issued.

It is clear that  all the three cases are different.
