The State Electricity Board companies have called upon the customers to use All Time Payment (ATP) machines installed at 20 different places in the State capital. MP Central Region Electricity Distribution Company, in a statement claimed that the use of the ATP machines is increasing day by day.
The ATP machines used for making payments of electricity bills has proved a boon for consumers, as these machines are functioning 12 hours from 8 am to 8 pm. However, at few places, to provide more facility to the customers, the machines are functioning till 10 pm.
Publicity officer of the Company Manoj Dwivedi stated that Bhopal already has 20 such machines and soon 5 more machines would be increased. Rural areas of Bhopal including Kolar, Mandideep and Patel Nagar will also get one machine each. Several other places including Guna, Betul, Hoshangabad, Pipariya and Harda will soon get similar setup.
