The gender ratio in the country got awry as we started considering birth of girl child as curse, but we forget that it is the woman power that has always made impossible possible and structured justice in nature, said Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan here on Sunday while concluding the State level workshop on ‘Beti Bachao – Beti Padao’ (Save daughter – educate daughter) at party’s State headquarter Pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya Campus.
Chouhan said, “From Navratri onwards every program of the party would start with Kanya Pujan (girls worship) while at the end of every program resolution to provide protection to girls would be taken.”
Chouhan further said that the need of women power has been underlined for the renovation of the country and we all have to indulge to make party organizations ritual ‘Beti Bachao – Beti Padao’ a huge success. There are only two reasons for dejection in the society – Murder of girl child and cow killings that have made life turbulent, he added.
He said that we have to work for awakening dignity of daughters, because birth of daughter is boon for the mother earth.
National convener of the Beti Bachao – Beti Padao campaign of the party Rajendra Ashok Phadke said, “We would have to formulate things by looking at the different conditions of the society as per the region. Because, at some places peoples don’t take interest in enrolling girls to schools while at some places continuity does not remains after enrolment. There are many problems that need to be analyzed.”
National coordinator of BJP SC/ST cell Bhagwat Sharan Mathur said that we need to associate with the drive for long. This is a pious work so get associated with it with full interest, he added.
