The Shivraj Singh Chouhan Government has provided opportunities of all round development to the Scheduled Tribe community in the State which has benefited every family and every person of the community," claimed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Narendra Singh Tomar.
Tomar added that party workers should reach the masses so that the favourable sentiments towards the party could be translated into support and vote leading to victory for the party in 47 tribal constituencies of the State.
He said this while addressing the first meeting of the newly constituted executive of the Anusuchit Janjati Morcha here on Monday.
Tomar took the opportunity to bash the opposition parties including Congress, Samajawadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
"Congress claims to have inherited the legacy of Gandhi, but in reality it has discarded the philosophy and ideas of Gandhi. SP claims to be a follower of Ram Manohar lohia, but in reality it indulge in politics of caste and appeasement. Similarly, BSP champions the cause of dalit community, but dalits still remain the most exploited," Tomar said.
"On the contrary, the BJP has imbibed the nationalism of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and integral-humanism from Deen Dayal Upadhyay. We have translated this into reality in politics. People have benefitted from this integral-humanism and the last man in last row has become the focus of policies in the BJP ruled states,"
Tomar said.
He further said that the party has ensured 12 per cent economic growth rate and agricultural growth rate of more than 18 per cen. Every section of the population in Madhya Pradesh has benefited from this all round development. BJP government has ensured that every member of Scheduled Caste community gets opportunity for social, economic, educational and cultural development, he added.
The meeting was also addressed by state president of Anusuchit Janjati Morcha Gajendra Singh Patel.
"The tribal people always remain true to their words. BJP has honoured the tribal people by giving them an honourable place in history which has overwhelmed them. The tribals would not leave any stone unturned in the next 150 days left for the assembly elections," Patel said.
A political resolution was also adopted at the meeting. The resolution criticized the tribal policy of the Centre and expressed gratitude towards the BJP government for allegedly facilitating development of the community.
