The fame of Madhya Pradesh wheat and rice aregoing to increase as the government is going to showcase these products in the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan and Investors Summit organised in Indore. This is the reason why exporters have also been called here for a meeting between NRIs and investors. With the new branding and the increase in exports of wheat and rice products, the fortunes of farmers will change.
The 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan is being organised in Indore from January 8 to 10. Global Investors Summit has also been organised here. After talks with about 4,000 NRIs and investors coming here, a large number of industries are expected to be set up in the state and avenues of employment will be opened for the youth.
MP's Basmati rice and Sharbati wheat will be branded in both the programmes - Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan on January 8. Presidents of two countries will participate in this and ministers of four countries will also come. After this, there will be a Global Investors Summit from January 11, in which industrialists from 70 countries along with diplomats from 30 countries will also come. 6652 industrialists have been registered for the summit. In both these programmes, branding of MP's Basmati rice and Sharbati wheat will be done.
The intention of the state government is to bring the specialties of the state to the fore in both these important programmes. In the Pravasi Bhartiya Sammelan, the characteristics of coarse grains of MP will be informed. In this, special emphasis will be given on the export of Sharbati wheat and Basmati rice. This is the reason why a buyer-seller session has been included in the very busy schedule of the conference, in which exporters have also been invited.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan himself will be involved in this session. With the increase in exports, the price of wheat and rice will be good, due to which the income of the farmers is also expected to increase.
