State President of BJP and parliamentarian Nandkumar Singh Chouhan has said that the mega contact campaign of the party is a reply to the question of political parties regarding authenticity of the missed call campaign launched by the BJP to add new members.
The campaign has also proved to be an effective exercise for the party. In the campaign, party cadres knocked the doors of new members and tie them with the knot of
intimacy in order to bring them in the stream of party ideology.
Chouhan was addressing party members in the divisional meeting organised in Indore on Thursday. He praised the efforts of party cadres in the Membership Campaign and the mega contact campaign.
He further added that the membership campaign inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fetched 10.30 crore members for the party. The membership in the State has also crossed one crore mark, which has increased the responsibilities of leaders. The major issues on which the party is committed are getting delayed as the party does not enjoy two-third majority in Rajya Sabha. The membership campaign is an attempt to overcome the trouble. It will help the party to gain two-third majority in both the houses of Parliament.
He stated that the party requires dedicated efforts of the cadres. He also said that after formation of government in Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP is making efforts for
rehabilitation of Hindus migrated from Kashmir.
He also requested the party cadres to promote the achievements of the State and the Central Government among the public.
For the success of the mega contact campaign, the final round of meetings and workshops is on in all the 10 divisions.
