AAP leaders said they were overjoyed at the historic win of the party. As party supporters gathered at the Subhash Nagar office here, sweets were distributed.
Frenzied victory celebrations erupted as the AAP supporters in the old city burst crackers, beat drums and danced to commemorate the Arvind Kejriwal-led party heading for a landslide in the Delhi Assembly polls. Hundreds of AAP supporters were also seen waiving the national flag while raising slogans in support of Kejriwal and AAP at party office in old city’s Koh e Fiza locality.

AAP Madhya Pradesh coordinator Alok Agarwal addressing the mediapersons said, “The message from the huge Delhi mandate to us is very clear that the politics of corruption, casteism and hatred has no longer any place in the country and the days for politics of honesty, development and good governance has arrived in the country.”
Agarwal cautioned the political class of the State by saying that the year 2018 in Madhya Pradesh would be ours. “From now on we would play the role of a strong and constructive opposition in the state. Besides, expanding the organisation in the State we would raise all issues of the common man and would not let the BJP Government to overlook common man’s interest,” Agarwal added. He said that we would contest all future elections in the state including Panchayat, municipal, assembly and parliamentary elections. Former MlA Kalpana Parulekar and Paras Saclecha besides AAP state spokesman Akshay Hunka were also present on the occasion.
