I believe in making original movie not in the remakes”, said Shahrukh Khan during his visit in the State capital on Friday. The celebrity was in the city to promote his new movie Chennai Express.
While interacting with the media persons, Khan shied away from the personal questions but discussed the details of the movie.
Chennai Express is a movie one could enjoy with family. In the film, he is playing the role of 40-year-old Rahul while Deepika plays a South Indian girl. The audience would get a mix taste of South and North India in the movie.
Khan compared the actress of the movie Deepika with international actress and has worked with her earlier in Cocktail, Yeh Jawani Deewani and Om Shanti Om movies.
Deepika is playing role of a straight forward lady in the movie and when Khan was asked about her absence he joked that girls are not interested in accompanying him to Bhopal.
When Khan visited earlier to the city, he arrived without the actress of the movie Kareena Kapoor. Sharing his favourite South stars Khan named Motilal, Rajnikant, Kamal Hasan and Ajeet.
Replying to a question, Khan told that his son Aryan does not like his movies in which he dies at the end but he loves 3D action movies. Khan is an entertainer and entertained the huge crowd gathered to get a glimpse of the superstar by dancing on the songs of Chennai Express.
Khan arrived by one and a half hour late at the DB Mall, the venue for promotion of the movie. The MP Nagar area and other nearby areas witnessed traffic jams during the promotional event.
