Saying that Sri Lankan Government’s decision to ban the TV channel of Zakir Naik after the recent serial bomb blasts, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that Digvijaya Singh in the past never got tired of appreciating the same person.

While addressing a public meeting in Itarsi of Hoshangabad district, Modi said the public would be surprised to know that Congress government in the past had invited Naik to address police officers on the issue of terrorism.

“Naik remained responsible for triggering bomb blasts in Sri Lanka while Diggy Raja (Digvijaya) used to dance keeping him (Naik) on his shoulder which was utter shame,” said the Prime Minister. Alleging that Congress raagdarbaris (courtiers) were trying to project Naik as peace ambassador, the PM said it was height of vote bank politics.

Whether the country would pardon those ‘villains’ who appreciated Naik, Pm Modi asked the public. Saying that a bayanveer Congress leader had come in MP and said, Modi ko aisa Chhakka maro ki vo seemapar jakar samapt ho jaye (Hi Modi for a six so that he lands across the boundary and dies.

The Congress hates me so much so they dream of killing me but they had no idea that the country was batting for me.”

Using some cricketing terminology, the PM Modi asked the public whether they thought the Congress was bowling on wrong line and length saying it was part of a well-planned strategy.

Alleging that Congress only swung into action after its existence was endangered, the Prime Minister claimed Congress mantra was, Sath Aao-Malai Khao (Come along and be partner in corruption).

Taking a jibe at Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, the PM said the state of MP has seen this Congress mantra as they were consuming malai with both hands.  “Congress came to power by promising farm loan waiver but I have heard the farmers are getting notices as the loan was never waived off,” he said.
