A special programme for women Parijat at Gandhi Bhavan will be organised on July 9 and 10.

Parijat is an initiative specially for middle class women where they learn to take the reins of their lives in their own hands, connect with their inner voice and fulfill their dreams to create a healthier society and a better world. It is not only an important but essential contribution to lift our society from this difficult time.

Parijat has come for the first time with two workshops in Bhopal; Mere Sapne – a hands-on workshop where women will be guided to take any of their ideas to action and secondly, Meri Barkat – which will teach many new and practical ways to take care of yourself emotionally and understand yourself.

This workshop will run from 11 am to 5:30 pm. Everything will happen with lots of fun activities and interesting things to do.

Earlier, Parijat's programs have been organized for the women of Pune and Daman-Diu. Women from across the country have taken advantage of Parijat's online workshops. Men and children have contributed to this work by encouraging and gifting these workshops to women.

Sonika and Akanksha, who gave birth to Parijat, are coming from Pune and Bangalore to organize these workshops.

Sonika Gupta has done M.B.A. In his 18 years of experience, he has worked on increasing community participation from corporate to rural India. He established a youth fellowship at the national level but when he began to see and understand the drawbacks of mainstream systems and life, he worked for many years in alternative teaching.

Just as he has given meaning to his life, in the same way he feels that every human being can do it.

Akanksha has been working on mental and social issues since last 15 years and currently has a private practice as a Family Healer and Personal Therapist.

His training has been in Transactional Analysis, Gestalt Therapy and Family and Systemic Constellation. Apart from this, he has also worked in corporate for 8 years as an open source software professional.
