Special Mudra camp under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana is being organised at Brilliant Convention Centre, Vijay Nagar, Indore from 10. 30 am onwards on October 5 for approval of Swarozgar Yojana loans in state. Chief guest on the occasion would Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thawarchand Gehlot. Finance and Commercial Tax Minister Jayant Malaiya would be special guest.
Mudra camps are being held in 50 places in various state during September 27 to October 17 all over the country under Mudra Promotion campaign. loans under state government schemes including Swarozgar Yojana and Stand-up Yojana will approved at the camps for youths. Besides, stories of successful entrepreneurs will be exhibited at Mudra and Stand-up India.
Issues related to aadhar card and opening of Pradhan Mantri Jan-dhan Yojana accounts will be addressed at the camp. Participants attending the camp will be given information related to downloading of ‘Bhim App’ on mobiles. Apart from this the participants will also be imparted information about the process of digital payments under National Digital Payment Mission. Registrations of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana will also be done at the camp.
Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency limited (MUDRA) is an organisation constituted by the Centre. MUDRA helps individuals from the small trades through financial institutions. Financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakhs can be availed in MUDRA loan. MUDRA loan is meant to focus on large scale business instead of small and micro level enterprises. Interest rate is very less and cheap on MUDRA loans.It is a noble activity from the government to provide small loans to Common People as well as entrepreneurs .
