Girls whoever will make their identity in special way at the State or national level, the district administration will treat them under the ‘Save Girl Child-Educate Girl Child’ campaign and they will also become the brand ambassador.
These girls will control the sex ratio and attract the peoples for the values of girls. All this was stated by Gwalior Collector Sanjay Goyal while addressing the PC-PNDT Act Advisory committee meeting. He said that we will select the talented girl from the district and we have decided in meeting to start the system of abortion monitoring system.
In the meeting of PC-PNDT Act Nodal officer Dr Bindu Singhal, Dr BK Kundwani along with other members was present. Gwalior Collector said that district administration through PC-PNDT Act in process to control the female foeticide. The general citizens are now attracted towards to save girl child and it is our duty to tell them about the value of girls and instructed to select the talented girls for brand ambassador.
Gwalior Collector Goyal has stressed on to save girl child and moreover we have to support them for their development. He said that all the departments should play their important role for the girl child. Gwalior Collector has said that at various ultrasound centres photo of girl and boy is restricted to put on the wall. He said that the monitoring should be done for the expectant mothers as right now we don’t have this facility.
Aanganwadi, Asha and Usha workers should collect the figures of pregnant women and if the abortion is done under opposite circumstances then the report should be send to CHMO and Civil Surgeon. For this type of report 15rupees per report is to deposit for PC-PNDT
