As part of the 25th Anniversary Celebrations of Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association, a special cultural event under the banner of Udbhav Sahityak Manch was held today to honour noted musician, Brajesh Srivastava. Dr Keshav Pandey and Deepak Tomar, President and Secretary respectively of Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association presented shawls and Sreefal to Brajesh Srivastava.
Presiding over the function, Dr Keshav Pandey, President of Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association said that it was indeed a great privilege to honour such a great musician as Brajesh Srivastava. He added that along with its other activities Udbhav will hold regular cultural events that will highlight the rich cultural heritage of Gwalior through presentations and concerts like dance, poetry sessions and screening of movies. Pandey also said that events will be regularly held to honour artists in various fields.
Sarita Chauhan, Surendra Singh Parihar, Jagdish Gupta, Aditya Anshudhar, Rekha Bhadouria, Dr Kinkar Pal Singh Jadon and Ananda Pal Singh Bhadouria presented poems on various themes.
Thanking the association for honouring him, Brajesh Srivastava said that it is indeed a great motivation and mental incentive to be honoured by such an illustrious organisation. He thanked the office bearers of Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association for the honour.
Surendra Pal Singh conducted the event while Deepak Tomar proposed the vote of thanks.
The event was also attended by Bhagavan Singh Kushwaha, Shubhashu Srivastava, Prof Abhishek Srivastava, Anil Singh Bahdouria and Rajini Tomar among others.
