The Samajwadi Party (SP) trying hard to recover its lost ground in Madhya Pradesh would now focus on noted socialist thinker Ram Manohar lohia’s three policies of vote, jail and spade.
SP State president Ashok Yadav while addressing the in-charge of all the divisions of the party here on Monday at the party’s State office said, “We would now work on the three set principles of lohia and am sure that its impact would be seen in the upcoming local bodies elections of the State.”
Yadav said, “The party workers would have to struggle in the interest of peoples’ problem all over the state to increase our mass base and if the conditions become such that the workers would have to go jail then they should remain ready for this.”
He said that the workers should launch statewide struggle and should register protest by all peaceful means including sit-in protests. “lohia raised voice of farmers, labourers and poor for that history is witness. In current scenario the need of the time is to follow his foot prints,” he added.
He called on all the divisional in-charges to depute workers of their area in Bahoriband and Agar (SC) assembly constituencies that SP is contesting and would go for by-poll on August 21 to strengthen party position. The SP state president held special discussions with the Ujjain divisional in-charge BK Bohre over Agar (SC) Assembly bypoll.
Yadav told the meet that we have hit the road over the issues of compensation to farmers and MPPEB scam and now we would go in the bypoll on these issues only.
