State BJP president and parliamentarian Narendra Singh Tomar has alleged that the Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Congress have made Uttar Pradesh a political battlefield.
These three political parties in the past several years never thought for the development of the people, on the contrary, they considered their progress only. The SP increased the nepotism in the State and in the name of development, it was only engaged in drama for years.Similarly, Tomar alleged that the BSP, in the name of doing politics of dalits, exploited these sections of the society. During its regime in Uttar Pradesh, this political party, instead of doing development works, only acted as dictators, he added.
He further stated that above all, the Congress exploited the people of Rajasthan emotionally since Independence. Uttar Pradesh remained backward despite the fact that Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were elected from this State. Factually, all these three political parties helped in taking the State decades back in terms of development, he added.
What is the condition of the parliamentary constituencies of senior leaders of these political parties, is not a hidden fact now. Amethi, Rae Bareli, Etawah, Kannauj and Azamgarh remained backward despite the fact that senior leaders of these parties have represented these constituencies for decades. If they cannot develop their own constituencies, how can people expect that they could do any better for the whole country, asked Tomar.Tomar stated that the BSP supremo is not contesting the elections because of fear of defeat. These political parties are doing caste-based politics of Muslims, upper caste, Yadavs and OBCs, but they never give a thought to the development of the State.
