In a unique way to ‘expose’ the Congress’ anti-poor psyche, the Bharatiya Janata Party - Mahila Morcha would open shops by the name ‘Sonia Gandhi shop-food available at Rs 5’ in all the districts of the State.
Morcha State general secretary Bharti Agarwal in a statement here on Friday said that the Morcha would make ‘Sonia Gandhi shop in Congress-led United Progressive Alliance’ Government. The price of one thali of food would be fixed at Rs 5. The Congress Ministers are making mockery by announcing that a full diet is available at the cost of Rs 5 in the country, Agarwal added.
Agarwal called on all the district presidents of the Morcha to oppose the anti people ridiculous announcement of the Congress and give a befitting reply to the Congress party by opening shops namely ‘Sonia Gandhi shop food available at Rs 5’ to expose the anti poor psyche of the Congress. She said the thali to be offered at the Sonia Gandhi shop at Rs 5 would have half chapati, a piece of potato dish, one spoon pulse and two spoons tea to teach a lesson to those who are making mockery of the poor.
This programme would be held before August 15 in all the districts of the State. District presidents of the Morcha would give the final shape to the programme for their respective districts by calling a meeting, she added. She said that the sisters of the Morcha should rope in at least 500 trees in their districts and celebrate the festival of Rakhsabandhan with the poor by visiting the Dalits and shabby colonies. The sisters of the Morcha should make identity of the Morcha by taking part in the social programmes, she added.
