A 22-old woman was sexually exploited for the past one year after she became friend with accused who met over social media; Ashoka Garden police have started search for the accused.
The accused used to blackmail her through indecent photographs and video. The crime was committed in the Ashoka Garden area. A complaint was lodged by the victim against the accused.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused, Anuj Meena of BHEL area for the past one year on the pretext of marriage.
The victim came into contact with the accused around a year ago over Instagram. The two developed friendship and the victim was accompanied by the accused to his freind's room where she was raped by luring her of marriage and recorded video and photos of act, later, he used the photographs to sexually exploit her several times.The victim blackmailed her, threatened her and abused her of caste. Later, she lodged a complaint with the police.
Based on the complaint and after the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under relevant circumstances and started searching for the accused. After the complaint was lodged, the police registered a case. At the time of filing this report, the accused was on the run.
