Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that getting both the vaccines of Corona is the biggest social responsibility. By not taking the corona vaccine, we put the lives of ourselves, our family members and acquaintances at risk. The consequences of this type of social irresponsibility can be fatal. The target of cent percent vaccination of all eligible persons in the state is to be completed by the end of December.
Chouhan said that I appeal to all social and voluntary organizations, media fraternity and every person to cooperate in fulfilling this goal. Chouhan was visiting the vaccination center operated at Sarojini Naidu School, Shivaji Nagar under Vaccination Maha Abhiyan-10 today.
Alerting the people of the state, Chief Minister Chouhan said that Corona is not over yet. Today there are 18 positive cases in the state. The number of active patients is 171. Apart from this, a new variant Omicron is spreading in the country and the world. Vigilance is necessary for protection against this. Therefore, the residents of the state are requested to follow the precautions like wearing masks and maintaining social distance. Avoid crowds and adopt the most powerful and effective shield vaccination against corona.
The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh is leading among the states providing maximum number of vaccines. So far, 94 percent of the eligible people of the state have been given the first dose of vaccine and 77 percent of the people have been given both the doses. Our aim is to provide complete protection cycle to the state by providing cent percent vaccination to the people of the state by the end of December. Arrangements have been made to give free vaccines by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Vaccine is the savior of life, so all religious leaders, public representatives, social workers, voluntary organizations, corona volunteers should inspire everyone around them who has not got vaccinated yet. It is the duty of every person.
Chouhan flagged off the vaccination chariot from the vaccination center of Sarojini Naidu School. Chouhan visited the stalls set up for Covishield and Covaxin vaccination and inquired about the well being of the people who came for vaccination and put the stamp of "I am Vaccinated" to the citizens. Citizens also posed with Chief Minister Chouhan with the message "I fulfilled my responsibility - now is your turn" at the selfie point at the center.
