Sagar Manufacturers Pvt ltd (SMPl) pledged into the textile industry to produce superior quality yarns with world-class production technology under its service to serve the community organised a blood donation camp at its campus in village Tamot of Goharganj tehsil in
neighbouring Raisen district.
The camp was organised to mark Chairman’s Birthday and also to connect with the community. The camp was organised in association with Indian Red Cross Society. Employees of Sagar Manufacturers Pvt ltd. volunteered to donate blood and contributed 68 units of blood.
All participating donors were awarded refreshment, certificates of appreciation and blood-donor’s card for their noble contribution to society. Blood collected from the camp will be provided to needy patients who come for treatment at the hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, OP Shrivastava Director, Blood Bank and Pathology laboratory of Indian Red Cross Society said, “We are thankful to the entire team of Sagar Manufacturers Pvt. ltd who have contributed and made blood donation camp a success. Today, SMPl has set an example to other units to organize such camps which enables us to collect blood of all groups and help in saving lives of citizens.”
