SKP chief urges abolition of caste-based reservation

The national president of Shaskiya Karmachari Parisangh (SKP) Sushil Kumar Pandey said that caste based reservation is the biggest hindrance in the unity of the Nation and it must be abolished. Whereas the national vice president Sadna Gupta said it is a threat to the Nation.

While talking to the media persons here on Sunday, Panday said that God created all of us equal then why few must get special treatment. Giving an example he said that think about sun light how it shines upon all equally and does not discriminates. Similarly, neither wind nor rain differentiate between people or their casts, he added. He further asked then why the State governments are creating such differences.

He further said that the system is like a body and a part not working properly affects the whole body. All parts must be equally healthy and that is how society must be where all casts and creeds must be equally treated and made healthy.

Panday further said that the organization demands the abolishment of caste based reservation and instead the benefits of reservation must be given to financially poor people of the nation. He also said that there is no point in blaming the political leaders such as Prime Minister or Chief Minister as they too are under pressure. The solution lies in the hands of judiciaries, he added.

The SKP submitted a memorandum to the President of India, Prime Minister, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and MP Governor Ramnaresh Yadav. If the demands are not accepted the SKP will agitate until it is realized, he added.
