After having a fight with her elder brother over watching TV serial, an 18-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at Categorised market area under Hanumanganj police station area on Saturday.
According to the police, Priya Kuchbandiya was found hanging at her house and rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
The deceased had a fight with her 12-year-old brother Rahul who was watching a movie that time and the deceased wanted to watch a TV serial, however after her brother rejected her request she started to make noose for committing suicide and spotting his sister trying to commit suicide he rushed to inform the neighbours for help but before he could get help and return the deceased hanged herself and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
Parents of the deceased were not present during the incident. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem.
The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile a 40-year-old man who sustained severe injuries after his bike met an accident in near Sai Baba Nagar under Habibganj police station area on Saturday died while undergoing treatment at JP hospital on Sunday.
According to the police, a man was found in injured state in the evening on Saturday and was rushed to a nearby hospital from where he was referred to JP hospital where he died during treatment on Sunday.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation and a case under Section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
