The death of beautician woman from Sikim Prema in her house in Bhopal turned out to be a murder, after the post-mortem report was out on Thursday night.
The case turned out to be a murder by her live-in partner Harsh. Live-in partner Harsh has concocted a story of suicide to divert the attention of police. Police have arrested the accused.
On October 9, Prema Lamba, a beautician living in Indrapuri Sector C of Piplani area, died under suspicious circumstances. Prema of Sikkim was living in a rented house with her live-in partner Harsh Kesarwani. Harsh is a final year student of B Pharma and is a resident of Shahdol.
According to Harsh, there was a heated argument between Prema and Harsh. In this dispute, Prema slit her own throat with a piece of glass. After getting the information, the police reached the rented house and the beautician was taken to the hospital.
The doctors said that the womanhad died due to excessive bleeding. Apart from the victim;s neck, there were many such marks on the body, due to which Harsh's story was not believed by the police. After this, the murder was revealed in the postmortem report on Thursday.
Additional DCP Rajesh Singh Bhadauria said that Harsh also doubted Prema's character. He used to stop her from working in the Spa. He suspected that she was close to the spa boys. The DCP said that both had doubts about each other's character. The police have recovered the knife used in the murder.
Meanwhile, it was revealed by Prema’s family members that she was married to a boy from the same community of Sikkim. She has a seven year old daughter who lives in Sikkim with her maternal grandparents. Prema left her husband after marriage.
