The producer, creator and one of the hosts of the Boogie Woogie show - Naved Jaffery, who was landed in the city here on Monday for the auditions expressed his joy and contentment over his visit to Bhopal after a long time and further shared his experience about the auditions with the tiny tots of the city.
Boogie Woogie is a dance reality show of Sony Entertainment Television. Notably the first season of Boogie Woogie was aired in year 1995 then in year 2003 and now its third season would be re-launched in December 2013.
About the new dance reality shows being aired and connection with the new generation Naved said, “It is nothing but just we are going to serve old wine in a new bottle. The set designing, the rounds and much more would be new for the audience. But, the conceptual part of the reality show would be the same, which is bringing out talents giving them a proper exposure.” This would be a ‘much-much bigger show’, he further added.
Elaborating further he said, “This would be a long running show, as after the auditions we would chock-out as many as 100 participants from across the country out of which 16 would go for the semi finals and then three or four would be selected for the grand finale.”
Talking about bringing out new talents on television, he said, “As these days children are very talented they might go for different dance forms. Moreover, we have specialised choreographers who train the children according to their calibre. Basically, we brush them up so that their talent could get a good exposure.”
