The film buffs of the city enjoyed three short movies at a daylong short film screening fest. The fest was held on Monday for the film lovers to enjoy the movies of different genres.
Three short movies ‘A letter to Allah’, ‘Zeenat-A monologue of a tawaif’ and ‘Unshackled-When freedom is what you crave for’ were screened back-to-back at the festival. The festival was organised by Sea Anchor flims.
Notably, all three movies were shot in Bhopal and the city artists have worked in these movies. Besides, the films were shot with a motive to take the Bhopal filmmakers at International Film Festivals and such movies could be screened across the world.
It is to be noted that all three short movies dealt with the thought provoking issues. All three of them have drama, emotions and all those elements which are required for a movie of such genre.
The movie ‘Zeenat-A monologue of a tawaif’ unfolds the life of a courtsean named Zeenat. It showcases her journey, the pains she goes through.
Another movie ‘Unshackled-When freedom is what you crave for’ dealt with the same issue. It tells the story of prostitutes.
