A Handloom Cotton Fair is being organised at Bhopal Haat where the visitors are mostly looking for the Bagh print suits and running pieces.Interestingly, it is always seen that during the summer season Bagh print materials steals the show and female buyers only opt for this material. While talking to The Pioneer one of the buyers, Zaiba, said, “The varieties of Bagh print that have arrived are really beautiful. Moreover, I opt for Bagh print for summer season as this print is really comfortable in this season. On second thoughts, I prefer Bagh print suits as they look more elegant than any other print.”
Another buyer, Neha, said, “Bagh print suits are the best one in this scorching summer season as this print will make you feel relaxed and at the same time it look fashionable.”Bhopal Haat always brings something new for the citizens and this time the artisans have brought more varieties of Bagh print and the buyers are being drawn towards these stalls. Not only this, but the bed sheets, running material, readymade kurtis and full suits are also the centre of attraction for the female buyers at the haat.Another female buyer, Tanvi, said, “The best exhibit of this fair is the kurtis in Bagh print. It is not only comfortable during summer but it makes you feel cool. Bagh print can be worn anytime and at any place, it looks always stylish.”
The vendors are from Madhya Pradesh and they have displayed an array of products of Bagh print in the fair. The suit starts at Rs500 and a readymade kurti costs only Rs300.The fair also shares a major collection of Maheshwari and Chanderi designed dress materials. There is the wonderful collection of dress materials in Maheshwari and Chanderi cotton. Kosa Silk too is designed in different patterns and prints. Printed materials beautifully embellished with Batik print, Dabu print, Hand-Block print and Bagh print are the major spheres of attraction at the fair. But, the buyers are mostly opting for the Bagh print material. The fair would conclude on May 12. Hurry up!
