Taking precautionary measures a review meeting of various departments headed by Shivpuri district collector on arrangements to tackle flood situations and relief works was held at the collector office on Friday.
Shivpuri district collector Rajiv Dube instructed the officials of the different departments to take necessary steps to save people in the harsh weather conditions. Diversion boards and warnings should be installed at the culverts and bridges which are dangerous to cross in the submerged state.
Security, rescue and life saving arrangements should be made at waterfalls, culverts and bridges. The teams deployed should remain alert and information of heavy rainfall which could result in loss human life, cattle and property should be provided to the district and police officials and control room.
