Five days after a woman was hit by a Government vehicle at Shivraji Nagar Market, the Habibganj police have started investigation in the accident on Thursday.
When 'The Pioneer' asked Habibganj police station SHO GD Agrawal about the delay in police probe. He said that investigating officer of the case has gone to Delhi. However, investigating officer Bhavani Shikarwar denied visiting Delhi.
After five days, when the police were contacted on Thursday GD Agrawal told that the investigation officer has gone to Delhi and the case diary is with him. Shikarwar informed that he had recorded the statements of the victim and found that the vehicle had been registered in the name of Woman and Child Development department of State Government. Sikarwar told that he never visited Delhi and investigating the case properly.
