Master Chef Shipra Khanna launched her new show on Tata Sky’s Actve Cooking (interactive service) in Bhopal on Wednesday, teaching simple cooking techniques to decorate food.

The new section on Actve Cooking was launched this week to teach food decoration techniques with the winner of MasterChef Season 2.

This would be the first time ever on a DTH platform that an interactive service introduced short courses on food skills by a MasterChef. Along with Shipra Khanna, Actve Cooking will now provide skill sets to enhance their food preparation and presentation at home, which includes modules such as Chocolate work, Sugar Craft and Fondant, Baking techniques and much more. Called ‘Master Class with Shipra Khanna’, these would be recipes and technics that can be made easily with ingredients available in anyone’s kitchen. Tata Sky subscribers of Actve Cooking will also have access to over 500 text and videos recipes in both Hindi and English.

“It is important for our services to evolve along with our subscribers and their interests. People, today, want to do a lot more in their kitchens; they want to refine & enhance their cooking skills and present their food more creatively. This insight led us to partner with Shipra Khanna, who is an expert in this area, to create short courses on food skills,” said Pallavi Puri, Chief Commercial Officer - Tata Sky.

Priced at ` 59 per month this service will also showcase cooking recipes from renowned master chefs like Tarla Dalal, Harpal Singh Sokhi, Jiggs Kalra, Nisha Madhulika and many more.
