Woman and Child Development Department has prescribed 6-month process to examine prospective grooms' selection, character, family, profession etc. For this, law-cum-Exam Officers undertake checking of selected grooms. First the documents are checked as per information given by prospective grooms for example income certificate, information about profession and job.

When she says yes then choice of boy is enquired. On consent of both, girl is introduced to boy's family. Mutual status is also considered in this.
later, marriage process is undertaken legally. Groom's family is made to furnish a bond that they would never scold the girl for being orphan and adjust with her lifelong. later, permission for marriage is taken from collector.
