Rewa has carved identity at international level due to white tiger. It is sheer ignorance to say that white tiger came into existence due to some illness. This was stated by former Minister Pushpraj Singh while talking to newsmen at Rewa on Monday.
Singh said after capture of white tiger in 1951, it was mated with yellow tigress that gave birth to white cubs. later, progeny of the same white tigers reached entire world. Singh said that any country acquires fully healthy animals after examining them. It is unfortunate to say that tiger had turned white due to illness.
Researches were undertaken in this regard in the country and abroad and wildlife experts also corroborated Thai while tiger is a unique gift of nature. In fact, it was genetic change due to which Rewa got white tiger. Similarly, white elephants, white mice, peacocks and rabbits are also found. Should we assume that they have turned white due to illnessIJ It is sheer ignorance.
Pushpraj Singh said that white tiger has returned to Rewa due to laudable efforts of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Public Relations and Energy Minister Rajendra Shukla. Playing its role, the Central government has extended maximum support to it. For this, entire Vindhya is grateful to them, he added.
He said Mukundpur White Tiger Safari is the first white tiger safari in the world. Its branding has been undertaken and all have recognised the fact. Under such circumstances, it is childish to give such statements by those holding responsible positions to say so without complete knowledge about the subject.
Singh said that rising above political affiliations, Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Rajendra Kumar Singh and leader of Opposition Ajay Singh have also welcomed opening of the Safari and return of white tiger. Therefore, entire Vindhya must stand united to congratulate and express gratitude to Chief Minister and Public Relations Minister for this achievement.
