Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd., backed by steady growth in sales has registered an impressive growth in net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2022. The Company registered a revenue growth of 62.8 per cent year-on-year basis. The net profit has grown by 19.8 per cent over the same period in last fiscal.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 (April to June 2022) stood at Rs 254.5 crore against Rs 156.3 crore over the same period last financial year. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) was up by 69.2 per cent at Rs 21.3 crore with EBITDA marginstood at 8.4 per cent.
EPS has also registered smart 19.6 per cent gain in this quarter from Rs 3.97 during the corresponding period last fiscal to Rs 4.75. Dinesh Patidar, Chairman & Managing Director, Shakti Pumps (India) Limited said, "I am pleased to announce that Shakti Pumps has achieved yet another strong quarter and registered a sharp revenue jump of more than 60% YoY. Solar EPC business reported 120% YoY growth during the quarter with the sales volume of 6,439 pumps in Q1FY23 as compared to 3,014 pumps in Q1FY22.”
Our export business also grew by 21.5% YoY to reach Rs 407 million from Rs 335 million in Q1FY22.
