One of the most awaited movies of this year starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt 'Shandaar' hit the screens here on Thursday. Notably, to mark Dussehra movie was released on Thursday.
Shandaar is an Indian romantic film directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. The movie stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhat in the leads. Being paired on screen for the first time Shahid and Alia's fans were eagerly waiting for the movie to release.
It had a Shandaar opening in Bhopal and the adherent lovers of the actors also the filmy buffs of the city wanted to watch the actors together went to watch the movie. The plot revolves around two families one being Punjabi and the other is Sindhi. The story is about a Punjabi girl Isha getting married to a Sindhi boy Robin. The bride somehow manages to convince her father Bipin (Pankaj Kapoor) for the wedding. Bipin also has another daughter Alia (Alia Bhatt) who is his adopted daughter. later the secret of parenting was revealed in the movie.
Now the wedding somehow happens between Punjabis and Sindhis. And here enter the real twist in the story. The wedding planner is Jagjinder (Shahid KApoor) who appears on the scene and organizes the whole wedding. During all the stuff he falls for Alia and the real contest now begins between Jagjinder and Bipin. With the similar concept and story the movie is not much different from other romantic ones. But somewhere the comic sequences and the real life father and son battle between Shahid and Pankaj Kapoor added spark in the story.
