The State government on Friday issued orders transferring senior IAS officers. In another order, the government promoted nine secretary-level IAS officers.
Kanchan Jain, Principal Secretary, Cottage and Village Industries, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Horticulture and Food Processing, RK Swai, Principal Secretary, Farmers’ Welfare and Agriculture Development, Bio-diversity and Bio-technology has been posted Principal Secretary, Home, Shikha Dube, Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Gramodyog Parishad as Principal Secretary, Cottage and Village Industry and Managing Director of Khadi and Village Industry Council and Ashok Kumar Varnwal, Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Marketing Federation as Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.
K Suresh, Principal Secretary, General Administration has been relieved of the additional charge of Cooperatives and given charge of Transport. After RK Swai takes charge as Principal Secretary, Home, MM Upadhyay will be relieved of the additional charge of Home. When Kanchan Jain takes charge of Horticulture and Food department, Saleena Singh will be relieved of the charge of Horticulture and Food department. Ravindra Kumar Pastor, CEO, National Rural Employment Guarantee Yojana has been posted as ex-officio Secretary, Panchayats and Rural Development and Additional Development Shivshekhar Shukla, Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh State Warehousing has been given the additional charge of Managing Director Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Marketing Federation.
The officers whose new posting orders have been issued after their promotion include Rajesh Kumar Rajora, Secretary Panchayats and Rural Development and ex-officio Additional Development Commissioner, who has been posted as Principal Secretary, Panchayats and Rural Development, Bio-diversity and Bio-technology, SN Mishra, Secretary Urban Administration and Development, Housing and Environment, Environment Commissioner, Director-General EPCO, School of Good Governance and Administration and Capital Project as Principal Secretary of same departments, Ajit Kesri, Rehabilitation Commissioner and ex-officio Secretary, Revenue, Religious Trust and Endowments, Controller, Printing and Stationery and Principal Secretary, Revenue (Additional Charge) as Principal Secretary, Cooperatives, Pakaj Rag, Commissioner-cum-Director Archaeology and Museums and ex-officio Secretary, Culture and Trustee Secretary of Bharat Bhavan as OSD-cum-Commissioner-cum-Director of the same departments, Ashok Kumar Shah, Secretary, SC Welfare and Managing Director, Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (additional charge) as Principal Secretary in the same department.
Similarly, Alka Upadhyay, CEO, Madhya Pradesh Rural Roads Development Corporation has been promoted to the rank of Principal Secretary. Ashwini Kumar Rai, Secretary, Personnel and General Administration has been posted as Principal Secretary of the same departments, Sharad Kumar Ved, Excise Commissioner, Gwalior has been posted as OSD-cum-Excise Commissioner, Gwalior and VS Niranjan, Commissioner and ex-officio Secretary, Higher Education as OSD-cum-Commissioner, Higher Education.
