Several interesting competitions were held at Annual Festival ‘Utsav Priya’ of Sarojini Naidu Government Girls Post Graduate College at the college premises on Tuesday. Girl students took part in the competition with enthusiasm and Rangoli, Maandana, creative writing, vase decor, tray decor, group dance Fagun Aaye Re competitions were held during the programme.
In the Chuski ki masti event 12 students took part and made several beverages like banana shake, chocolate shake, strawberry litchi shake and herbal tea.
Tasty dishes of bread were made in the ‘Bread ke Jhatke Zara Hatke’ event. In the event 26 participants took part who made sweet and spicy dishes and in the event Sana Khan made the best dish of the event and claimed first position, Soumya Jain came second while Chandani leela came third in the competition. Consolation prize was given to Tripti Sharma, Mariyam Akeel and Arshi Khan.
Herbal, free hand and bindu rangoli were organized under Rangoli competition at the fest and attracted huge number of students to participate in the competition. In the Rangoli competition 90 students participated and in the herbal competition Monika Malviya was awarded with the first prize and the second prize was claimed by Monika Malviya. In the free hand rangoli Priya Vishwakarma and Sonam Sahu came first, Sarika Prasad and Madhu Kushwaha came second while
Upasana Sagar, Aanchal Kanojiya and Bhavana Singh stood third.
Under the Rangoli competition in Bindu rangoli Sampada Ranade claimed the first position and Deepa Chauda.
Beautiful vases were decor by the participants of vase decor and for making them attractive colour, rice, flower, leaves and kalawa were used. The winners were Jyoti Maheshwari, Taruna Sahu and Shridevi Vasudevan.
Office staff and faculties participated in Aao Khichdi Pakayein in which quiz programme was organized in an interesting manner and which was enjoyed by the college staff.
Fifteen groups pariticipated in Phagun Aayo Re competition. In the competition Colours of India, NSS Girls and Mastani became victorious.
