Chairman of land reform commission Indraneel Shankar Daani visited to Free Urology camp held at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital here on Sunday.He discussed with the patients and took an account of arrangements made to render services to patients of various urinary ailments. Dani expressed satisfaction on the service spirit of volunteers and organisers.
It was told to Dani that 120 Urology surgeries have so far been performed since last three days. Patients from far-flung areas and cities have come in the camp for their treatment. It is learnt that as many as 718 patients came for treatment.
Of them, 150 were identified for their surgeries while 568 patients were sent back after their diagnosis and treatment.
Surgeries of 150 patients are being done by eminent Urologist Dr Gopal Badlani and team of 20 doctors and surgeons. Diagnosis, treatment, Pathology, X-Ray, Sonography, Medicines food, Fruits etc are being provided free of cost in the camp.
Meanwhile, 10 young friends of a whatsapp group have filled pledge forms to donate their eyes posthumously. They filled these forms on Sunday in Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital at Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bhopal. Self inspired propensity towards eye donation is gradually increasing in the society.
All these young members of the whatsapp group are of 20-22 years old.
They have also formed an organisation named ‘Youth towards Socialism’ to launch some public welfaral activities time to time. Names of these young friends are Sanya Acharya, Yash Sahu, Rahul Sharma, Monika Chouksay, Prerna Jain, Anjli Devrajan, Princy Jain, Nikhil Tilwani, Suruchi Shrivastava and Pankaj Manglani.
