To provide the citizens with better transport facilities, Mayor Alok Sharma extended the SR 1 and SR 3 routes of low-floor busses on Wednesday. The busses run from Bairagarh to Chichli and from Gandhi Nagar to Sailaiya. The inauguration of these two low floor busses will facilitate the citizens with secured and comfortable public transport and they will not have to change the transport every now and then.
During the inaugural ceremony of the low floor busses, Mayor Alok Sharma said that keeping in view the comfort of the citizens this facility has been inaugurated. He further said that also a facility will soon begin for the employees of Satpura, Vidhyanchal, and other offices so that they will not have to face problems while travelling in a public transport.
Mayor further said that a proper public transport is being provided to the citizens under BCll. He further said that this will be looked into that the citizens do not have to face problems while travelling in the public transport. He said that a check will be kept over it and if any citizen will face any kind of problem it will be resolved with an immediate effect.
He also said that in future a better public transport will be introduced for the public.The busses are being running under BCll and are being operated through M/s Capital Roadways and Finance Private limited. Also as many as 50,000 passengers will be facilitated through these buses.On the occasion, BMC Additional Commissioner Chandramauli Shukla, Mayor in Council members and other BMC Officials were present.
