Separatists in Valley will never succeed: State BJP gen secy

Separatists in Kashmir would not succeed in maintaining their relevance by continuously disturbing the peace and development of the Valley, said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh general secretary Ajay Pratap Singh.

Singh in a statement here on Wednesday said, “The people of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) have shown their faith in Indian constitution and democracy by continuously voting in Parliamentary and Assembly elections. The people of J&K have shown mirror to the separatists by deserting them and participating in the elections. The relevance of the separatists has come to an end.”

Singh further said that the separatists by becoming puppet of foreign powers created law and order position in the valley deceptively tried to maintain their relevance.

He said that a delegation of 20 Parliamentarians of the country led by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh tried to contact these separatists to restore peace process in the Valley thus executing their democratic duty but the separatist leaders declined to meet and talk with the delegation that infact has exposed their real face, that is that they do not like to have dialogue under Indian constitution.

The senior BJP leader said that the separatist who have become puppet of foreign powers would neither be proud of being Indian nor could do any good of Indians. It could not be expected that they would do any good of J&K.

The person who works against the Indian constitution has no right of getting Government security and facilities. Those separatists who are not proud of Indianness and constitution is not accepted than any result oriented dialogue could not be expected from them, he added.

Singh said that Pakistan that is the sanctuary of terrorism is the source of the law and order situation created by these separatists in J&K by misleading the youth of valley. Separatists are neither the representatives of people nor they have faith in constitution in these conditions dialogue with them have become meaningless, he added.
