On the occasion of 75th anniversary of independence, under the aegis of Government of India, “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”, the Amrit Mahotsav of 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its many achievements is being celebrated as a festival. In this context, a webinar was organized by the Human Resource Department BHEL, Bhopal on Thursday for the employees on ‘Role of BHEL in Nation Building: ACTION @ 75’. Prof. AV Krishnan Retd. Executive Director Ranipet and T.S. Murali, General Manager (In-Charge) CQ BE were present as the Guest speaker on the occasion.
Pro AV Krishnan in his address said that how we can take BHEL and India to new heights and make India one of the top economies of the world. He said that we have to improvise our R&D capability at a faster pace. T.S. Murali, General Manager (In-Charge) CQ BE said that customers are very much confident with BHEL.
BHEL is a true example of Make in India after independence. We have to reduce the carbon footprint and move towards renewable energy with emphasis on nuclear, hydro, aerospace, power generation, emission control, upstream solar, renewable energy and environmental, social and corporate governance to stay in business.
In this sequence, a poster competition was organized by the Department of Human Resources- Official Language.
In the beginning of the program, Avinash Chandra, General Manager (TCB) read out the message of the Minister. In his address, he said that the Amrit festival of Azadi is actually a tribute to the memory of the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for our country.
We all have a feeling of patriotism which inspires us to contribute for our country.
Chandra added that just as you are performing well here with your hard work and dedication, similarly perform well at your respective workplace. Around12 participants participated in the competition.
