A seminar on ‘Naxal Problems and Problems of Naxal Reporting’ was held at Swaraj Bhavan here on Sunday.

Chhattisgarh former Director General of Police RlS Yadav addressing the seminar said that no problem could be solved by violence. The people exploiting the locals want to rein the government which has developed Naxalism in the region. At present the tribals are exploited and they are deprived of justice still the problem could be solved by resorting to violence.

The National President of Ekta Parishad Rajgopal PV told the industries want to tap the natural resources but these pockets are dwelled by the tribals.

In this scenario the development of the tribal is missing from the development model and the violence in these pockets has been increased. A dialogue with the poor and non-violent groups will help in curbing Naxalism.

Naresh Mishra of IBC told that addressing the issues of common man of a Naxal affected area is considered Naxalism by the Government. The experimental models used by the Government have failed and impacted negatively.

The problem of Naxalism could be solved by making people aware in democratic ways and if people are troubled than to gain their confidence will become difficult. In the era of globalization exploitation and poverty have increased and the government is not willing to address the problem and is neither working to abolish the violence completely.

The tribals inhibiting the vast natural resources are burdened with both violence and Naxal violence which is induced by the market forces were also discussed in the seminar.
