A security guard gunned down a 40-year-old man after he found the deceased in compromising position with his wife. The incident was reported in Kotra Sultanabad locality under Kamla Nagar police station area on Tuesday.
According to the police, a private security guard Ramjilal Tiwari of Kotra Sultanabad, soon after committing the crime reached the police station along with his wife and surrendered. He told police that he had seen his wife with her paramour in compromising position and thus out of anger he took this extreme step.
The police have registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and started further investigation.
Police said Ramjilal Tiwari works as a security guard in a private firm and lives at EWS– 722, Kotra Sultanabad locality along with his wife and on Tuesday morning after having left for his duty, he returned half away, as he had forgot something at home. On reaching home, he found his wife in compromising position and out of rage he opened fires on the man.
ASP Rajesh Chandel told that the body of Arun Kumar Sharma was found naked in the house of Tiwari. However, in her statements, she claimed that Arun had forcibly entered the house and trying to rape her. However, during preliminary investigation, the police have found that tea was being prepared in the kitchen and if Arun had entered forcibly this would not have been the scene inside the house.
However, Chandel stated that facts would come to fore after recording statements of both husband and wife, their neighbours and relatives.
