Govindpura police have booked a security guard for sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl at Barkheda under Govindpura police station area on Sunday. According to the police the accused was identified as Rangila alias Deepak Saxena sexually assaulted the victim while she was alone at her house on Saturday evening said police.
Investigating Officer Shrikant Sharma said that the incident surfaced after the victim reported pain and reported the incident to her mother who lodged a complaint with the police and based on the complaint a case under section 376 of the IPC and sections of POCSO Act and Prevention of Atrocities against SC/ST Act was registered against the accused.
Meanwhile a 30-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting a 40-year-old woman at Nagar Nigam Colony under Chola Mandir police station area; victim was sexually assaulted when she went to collect borrowed money from the accused few months ago.
According to the police the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Tulsiram alias lala Kushwaha in the year 2015 and was threatened not to report the incident due to which the victim reported the incident on October 21 with the family and later a complaint was lodged with the police. A complaint was lodged with the Chola Mandir police and in her complaint the victim stated that she was sexually assaulted at Nagar Nigam Colony at Chola Mandir area.
The victim is relative of accused and borrowed Rs 40000 from the victim. At the time of the return victim was asked to collect money from his house at Nagar Nigam Colony in Chola Mandir area and when she went to collect the money she was sexually assaulted by the accused and after she was raped the accused threatened her to keep mum.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
